Enter Emma. Stand at the edge of the cliff, looking out towards the sea.

Enter Josh, walks towards Emma from behind and stands next to her, looking at her.

Emma: You're Late

Josh: I have what you asked for

Josh hands her a brown envelope

Emma: Looking inside the envelope Is this all I need?

Josh: Yes that's everything

Emma: Good

Enter Ben, appearing from the shadows with a gun. Shoots Josh in the head.

Emma takes an photograph out of the envelope. Takes out a lighter and sets the photo on fire. Drops it to the floor.

Proposal

My idea is to create a 'film noir' film opening scene.

The storyline will include a woman standing at a cliff edge waiting for someone. A man will then come to see her and they will exchange two lines of conversation before the man gives her a brown envelope. More dialogue will be exchanged and then another man will come into the scene and shoot the first man in the head with a gun. After this, the woman will open the envelope and take out a photograph before setting it on fire and throwing it on the floor.

The camera will be quite still during this scene and the takes will be long to make it look as realistic as possible. At the end of the scene, a slow zoom will end the opening with a close-up of the burning photograph on the floor.

Plan

My film opening will be filmed on a cliff edge in Torquay. I will use a female character and two male characters.
The female character will be standing at the top of a cliff waiting for someone to meet her. The first male character will come and meet her and give her a brown envelope. She will open the envelope and look inside briefly. The other male character will then come out of the shadows and shoot the first male character in the head. The woman will then take a photo out from the envelope, look at it and then set it on fire before throwing it on the floor.
I will film this in the evening when the sun is beginning to set so that it is dark but i have enough light to see what's happening in the frame but dark enough to look like it's happening during the evening.

New idea.

My film hasn't turned out as well as I planned so I am going to re-do my entire film plan.

My initial idea is to have a woman standing on a cliff edge and a man comes to meet her. He will give her a brown envelope and then another character will come and shoot the man. Then the woman will set a photo on fire and drop it to the floor.
